In this simulation, you are the STEM Integration Coordinator and 8th Grade Math Teacher at Stonehenge Middle School, where STEM performance continues to sag. A shift in community demographics has average class sizes exceeding 34 students, and teachers are spending more remedial time with struggling students. Top students are transferring to more progressive private schools. Those leaving voice frustration at a lack of AP courses and opportunities to earn high school credits, as well as a weak STEM program. To this point, every solution proposed by leadership results in more work for already overloaded teachers. The principal asks you to work with peers to find, propose, and implement solutions.
