SchoolSims, a leading provider of experiential learning through simulations, is proud to support Schools of Education across the country. This initiative specifically targets higher education programs preparing teacher candidates and educational leadership candidates.

Through the SchoolSims Experiential Learning Grant, SchoolSims has awarded funding to help institutions integrate high-quality, research-aligned simulations into their coursework and field experiences. These grants provide access to our full simulation library, onboarding support, and professional development resources to maximize impact.

As colleges and universities increasingly prioritize real-world readiness and decision-making skills, Schools of Education must evolve to meet this demand. The grant helps bridge the gap between theory and practice by offering scalable, immersive experiences that are especially valuable during challenging budget times and uncertain external funding. We aim to ensure all candidates develop confidence and competence before entering or advancing in the field.

This grant supports the 2025–26 academic year. As of this writing, 7 of the 10 grants have already been awarded, with only three spots remaining. Interested programs should act quickly to apply and secure their opportunity.

Grants are awarded to accredited higher education institutions across the United States. Participating programs span from rural teacher colleges to large research universities, all unified by a commitment to innovative educator preparation.

Institutions selected for the grant receive:

  • Full-year access to the SchoolSims simulation library

  • Implementation planning and facilitation training

  • Dedicated onboarding and customer support

  • The opportunity to collect student feedback and contribute to future simulation development

If you’re a dean, faculty member, or curriculum leader interested in preparing your candidates for the realities of the classroom and leadership roles, now is the time to act.
